Dear TNT Chihuahuas Family and Friends,
Many of you have contacted us to see if we are still around, we want to assure you that we are. We continue to focus our breeding to produce healthy, social Chihuahuas that meet “the AKC standard” with exceptional personalities and sweet temperaments.
We consider our program to be an ethical breeding program and like other small breeding programs we hope the new laws will allow us to continue. While we want to see laws passed that protect animals we also want to continue to raise our puppies in our home and not in a clean sterile cage, as would be the requirements as currently set forth by the proposed law. This law is focused on large breeding facilities. We are willing to be inspected, licensed and held accountable for our program. Since we have fewer than five breeding females we don’t fall under the current bill but we believe all breeders should be held accountable for safe, healthy and clean facilities and animals.
We have older spayed and neutered adults we are caring for and limit our breeding to one or two litters a year. If you are interested in adopting an adult please contact us. If you are interested in a puppy we still recommend checking your local shelter first and to always ask any breeder if you can come to their home and see the puppies and the parents. If you are planning to purchase a puppy in the future contact us and we will put you on a waiting list.
Owning a Chihuahua is a major responsibility. Chihuahuas require daily care and constant attention. Before bringing a Chihuahua into your family, research the specific breed to make sure it is suitable for your particular situation.
We consider those who adopt a TNT Chihuahua to be part of our family and you are always welcome in our hearts and home.
